New Hire Welcome at Barefoot Proximity
Illustration, Digital Design, Branding
During my last Co-Op semester at Barefoot Proximity I worked with the Talent Development Team to brand and enhance the new hire welcome experience. This was a two part project that included designing a set of branded physical goods and creating templated document designs for the HR document suite.
New Hire Welcome Gift
This first item for the new hire gift is an illustrated map of Cincinnati. This would serve as a fun guide for those who are new to the city or unfamiliar with the downtown area. Map is color coded and numbered to the key on the back.
This is the set of branded physical goods that would be presented to a new hire on their first day. The first image is the exterior packaging the gift would be presented in. The following images are of the gift items themselves. The designs show the proximity logo combined with other elements like illustrations of the Cincinnati skyline or the company’s headquarters.
Talent Development Document Design + Specific Requests
A specific request from the talent development team was for assistance redesigning the HR documents. To do this I created five different headers and worked them into templates that I created in Powerpoint. These templates were created in Powerpoint so the Talent Development Team would be able to access and edit them. I also designed a simple folder for these HR documents to be presented in.
The last deliverable I was asked to create was a set of stickers that represent the ten company values. These would be given to employees who exemplify that value as a sort of gold star reward. This was a departure from my normal vector style of illustration and an experiment in using drawing tablets to create a hand drawn illustration style.
Presentation + Process Work
Presentation I gave at the end of my coop term that gives more details about the project as well as a process work section.
PRESENTATION
Client Work
Summer 2019 I worked on the P&G Everyday and Home Made Simple brand teams. Here are some of the email projects that I created during this time. Included are examples of email, social and website headers and images.
This campaign was originally based on World Ocean Day, and the design on the left is based off of the branding of the event. This project release ended up being delayed and modified to focus on plastic pollution in general. I created vector illustrations to represent the themes. Included email, social, and site header.
Final designs for the August Sweepstakes held by P&G Everyday. Illustrations are seasonal and based off the beach for the month of August.
This campaign was for PGE Canada and was to promote Amazon’s Prime Day event and the availability of P&G products on Amazon. This was an experience in searching for appropriate stock imagery and creating a product bundle.
These are examples of social posts made for PGE seen with their captions and social media interactions from Facebook.
