This was a project from my fourth co-op which I completed in the Fabric Care unit of Procter & Gamble. The TidexShoes project is a Tide branded shoe cleaning line. It was started by previous co-op Grace Hertlein, who designed the logo, original packaging and web mockups, and was picked up and completed by myself and industrial design co-op Rileigh Smyth.

Rileigh and I onboarded to this project in January and were responsible for creating the assets necessary for a website launch in March. This required creating web mockups, physical product mockups, planning and completing a photo shoot, photo and video editing, and creating ads for Facebook and Instagram.

The website was designed to build off of the existing Tide brand while creating a more fresh and trendy look to relate more to the target consumers. The design was kept clean and simple to speak to the product benefit and to highlight the produce benefit image in the third module on the landing page.

The product page design had to stick pretty closely to the design of the other pages on the site as to not confuse the consumer, but we were able to add in demo videos to these pages. We felt this was necessary as consumers may not know how to use this type of product and it would aid in understanding.

 

Photography

 

This is a sample of the content created from the photo shoot with the addition of graphics to be used for the site and for social. This aspect of the project was a challenge for me as it challenged me to become comfortable behind the camera and allowed me to improve upon my editing skills for both photos and the videos seen below.

This video was created for the landing page and gives an overview of the full product lineup.

 

This is an example of one of five videos that live on the specific product pages. These show a more in depth version of how the products work and clearly show the product benefit.
