Locally Fed
Branding, Fundraising, Service Work
Locally fed is a local service initiative started by Madi Rinaldi, Madalyn Norman, and myself in the spring of 2020 as a response to the COVID-19 crisis. Locally Fed seeks to support our city during COVID-19 in two ways: Physically feed those most affected by the pandemic - hospital workers, first responders, and those in senior homes and shelters and to financially feed local restaurants who are suffering as a result of the pandemic.
Each week we will be partnering with a local restaurant to provide them with financial support to prepare meals for those impacted most by the COVID-19 crisis in Cincinnati. Once the order is filled, we will coordinate with the restaurant partners for pickup, and the donation centers for delivery.
Through the spring and summer of 2020 we were able to raise over $9,000 and provide hundreds of meals. We were able to work with organizations that were meaningful to us including the Ronald McDonald House, Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, The Welcome Project, Shelterhouse, and multiple senior centers/care homes.

Designed Materials
We wanted our brand to have a handmade feel to connect to the small businesses and organizations that we are serving. Because of this, I decided to create a logo and style that felt like a stamp, a little rough around the edges. This more personal style carried to our digital assets and print materials that we brought to events to help those we were serving know who we were.
