AI x Design Productivity
Background: North America Skincare’s internal design team was getting overwhelmed by simple- yet time consuming- adaptation requests. (Think changing copy on an eContent tile or a CTA on a social ad.) This was pulling designers away from more creative, impactful and fulfilling design work. The challenge was that we still needed to support the work to drive growth on the business.
Objective: Find a solution that reduces the number of design adaptation requests by at least 50% - in three months.
Strategy: Audit possible solutions, Interview platform representatives, Align solution with senior leadership, Upskill the business.
Impact: Over 50 cross functional partners across 3 brands licensed and empowered to adapt content themselves using Adobe Express. These new “beta creators” came from marketing, sales, media, analytics and even included our regional partners from Canada and Puerto Rico. This not only allowed our brand partners to be more agile, but also enabled us to pull regional translation work in house, increase social content creation for paid/organic media and most importantly for our design team: gave valuable time back to designers to focus on creating.
